2026 Sumo World Championships flag handed over to Azerbaijan

At the 2025 Sumo World Championships held in Bangkok, Thailand, the official competition flag was presented to Azerbaijan.

Vice President of the Japanese Martial Arts and Culture Association Ulvi Aghamirov received the flag on behalf of the country.

The 2026 Sumo World Championships will be hosted in Baku.
