Para-taekwondo fighter Sabir Zeynalov and boccia athlete Fidan Safguliyeva will serve as flagbearers for Team Azerbaijan at the 7th European Para Youth Games to be held in Istanbul, Türkiye, on July 21-28.
Azerbaijan’s hopes will be pinned on 17 athletes (11 male and 6 female), who will compete in 9 disciplines.
The Games will bring together about 700 athletes from 33 countries.
The opening ceremony of the games will be held at the Cebeci Sports Complex on July 24.
