First Europe and CIS Postal Leaders Forum wraps up in Baku

The First Europe and CIS Postal Leaders Forum has concluded in Baku.

Held for the first time in the Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, the forum brought together more than 150 high-level participants from over 30 countries, including senior officials from national postal services, industry experts, academics, technology providers, and e-commerce representatives.

The event served as a strategic platform for regional dialogue, benchmarking, knowledge sharing, and innovation. Discussions focused on the transformation of the postal sector in the face of global trends and digital disruption. Key topics included the growing role of e-commerce in postal networks, digital transformation, sustainable logistics, and the rising importance of cybersecurity in maintaining trust and security across postal operations.

The forum was co-organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, and Azerpost, which operates under the Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON). It took place in Baku from May 13 to 15.
