Gunay Badalova, the General Secretary of the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation, has expressed her confidence in the upcoming performance of Azerbaijani figure skater Nargiz Suleymanova at the World Championships.

In a statement to Report, Badalova highlighted that Suleymanova, who recently joined the national team, has already showcased her skills in two competitions.

"The main goal of her participation in the Sofia Trophy in Bulgaria was to secure a spot at the World Championships. The athlete ranked fifth among 23 competitors in the short program and second in the free skate," Badalova stated.

According to Badalova, the World Championships will take place from March 25-30 in Boston, USA. In preparation for the event, Suleymanova plans to participate in the Bavarian Open tournament. "Nargiz is currently continuing her training in Canada. We hope that she will represent our country with dignity in Boston as well," Badalova added.
