Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Angola Paulo Rodrigues da Silva and Director of the Infrastructure Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Angola Elizabeth Kailo have visited the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.
BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov introduced the guests to the university’s advanced facilities and international connections. He highlighted that students from several African countries, including Congo, Nigeria, and Sudan, are currently studying at BHOS, and some of its graduates are already working in Angola.
Discussions during the meeting explored opportunities for Angolan students to enroll at BHOS in the future.
Paulo Rodrigues da Silva, in turn, highly appreciated the development of cooperation between Angola and Azerbaijan in education and expressed hope that these relations would be further strengthened in the future.
After the meeting, the guests toured university campus, visiting state-of-the-art laboratories, modern classrooms, and a fully equipped sports complex.
