The freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling tournament held in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, concluded with two Azerbaijani wrestlers achieving remarkable victories.
Dedicated to the memory of Soviet hero Nurken Abdirov, the competition featured over 500 athletes from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers delivered outstanding performances, with Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg) and Abdulrahman Ibrahimov (65 kg) defeating all their opponents to secure the top positions on the podium.
