Azerbaijani triathletes will demonstrate their skills at the 2024 Ironman Calella - Barcelona Marathon, set to take place in Spain.

Athletes of "Triterra Baku Triathlon Club", comprised of Oleksandr Mordasov, Teymur Farajov, Kamil Aliyev, Fakhri Akbarov, Oleg Kucherov, Izzat Nafiyev, Tural Mahmudov and Samir Javadov, will battle it out for medals.

Nearly 3,000 athletes from 60 countries are ready for action in the tournament, to start on October 6.

The Ironman Calella-Barcelona is a distinguished triathlon event held in Calella, near Barcelona, Spain. This IRONMAN event is known for its beautiful Mediterranean setting, offering athletes the opportunity to compete in a stunning coastal environment. The race includes a 3.8-kilometer swim in the clear waters of the Mediterranean, a 180-kilometer bike course along the coastline with spectacular sea views, and a 42.2-kilometer run through the lively streets of Calella.
