Real Valladolid have reportedly secured the services of forward Juanmi Latasa from Real Madrid.
This transfer comes after intensified negotiations in recent weeks, notably with Ronaldo Nazario's involvement in discussions at the Jose Zorrilla Stadium.
According to MARCA, the deal is nearly finalised, pending only the player's signature. Both clubs are currently exchanging the necessary paperwork to complete the transaction.
Real Valladolid have made a substantial financial commitment, offering Latasa a long-term contract. The 23-year-old striker, who stands at 1.92 metres, is set to join Valladolid's attacking line-up.
Last summer, Latasa received limited exposure with Real Madrid's first team, playing a total of 70 minutes during their pre-season tour in the United States, where they faced Milan and Chelsea.
His new challenge will see him competing with Mamadou Sylla and Marcos Andre for a starting role under coach Pezzolano.
Latasa's journey began with Real Madrid's senior squad during the La Liga 2021/2022 season, and he made a notable impression. He was subsequently loaned to Getafe for two seasons.
During his time with Getafe, he accumulated 558 minutes in his first season and 1,793 minutes in his second, contributing seven goals across La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
