Azerbaijani schoolgirls win medals at European Girls' Informatics Olympiad

Students preparing for the Olympiad with the support of Azercell were awarded two bronze medals and a motivational prize

Schoolgirls representing Azerbaijan at the 4th European Girls' Informatics Olympiad, held in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, from July 21 to 27, earned two bronze medals and a motivational prize in the competition attended by 194 schoolgirls from 56 countries.

Rahidil Bayramly, a 9th-grade student at the Baku Lyceum with a focus on physics, mathematics, and informatics, and Nigar Hajiyeva, an 11th-grade student at the Baku Modern Education Complex, were awarded bronze medals. Ayan Karimova, a 10th-grade student at Ganja Lyceum with a focus on physics, mathematics, and informatics, received a motivational prize.

"Azercell Telecom" has been a dedicated partner in preparing Azerbaijani students for international Informatics Olympiads since 2017, collaborating with the Ministry of Science and Education and the Institute of Education. This alliance yielded remarkable results with Azerbaijani schoolchildren winning a total of 72 medals across various programming competitions in different age categories.
