Uruguayan midfielder Valverde's goal against Manchester City in the 2023/24 Champions League quarter-final first leg has been voted the best goal of the tournament, according to the official website of Real Madrid CF.
UEFA's panel of technical observers recognised the Uruguayan's superb volley at the Santiago Bernabéu, which made it 3-3 with ten minutes remaining.
Two more Real Madrid goals are among this season's top 10: Rodrygo's goal against Napoli on Matchday 5 of the group stage, and Bellingham's goal at the Diego Armando Maradona against the Italian side.
