Paul Pogba is reportedly set for an acting role in a French film amid his football ban for doping, according to talkSPORT.

The midfielder, who is currently at Juventus, has been suspended for four years after testing positive for a banned testosterone substance following a match against Udinese in August.

Pogba confirmed that he will appeal the imposed sanctions by the Anti-Doping Prosecutor's Office.

However, whilst his ban remains ongoing, the 31-year-old appears to have ventured outside of football and into acting.

ESPN report Pogba was involved in filming in Paris last week for a film titled '4 Zéros', a sequel to the 2002 release '3 Zéros', which comes out next year.

As well as this, Le Parisien claim that he is playing the role of a youth team football coach.

Someone who saw Pogba in action during filming told the French outlet: “He amazed everyone with his naturalness and simplicity.

"He visibly appreciated the experience and said he was ready, why not, to reproduce it further."

As well as this, Pogba took the time to take pictures with children and teenagers who were said to be 'delighted' to be with him.

Should his appeal be upheld, then the former Manchester United star is not set to return to football until 2027.

Pogba spent the entirety of the Udinese match on the bench before coming on as a substitute against Bologna and Empoli.

After being initially suspended in September, Pogba tested positive for the banned substance in a back-up sample test.

talkSPORT understands the substance that was found in his system was DHEA, which boosts naturally produced testosterone.

Pogba hasn't played since his suspension and his future is now in doubt as he will be 34 after his four-year ban is up.

The French international broke through at United before completing his first switch to Juventus in 2012.

He returned to Old Trafford four years later in a reported £89.3million move, which at the time was a world-record transfer fee.

Pogba won the Europa League and League Cup during his second spell with United, which also saw him lift the World Cup with France in 2018.

The midfielder then made his way back to Juventus in 2022 but his first season upon return was plagued with injuries, and he played just 52 minutes this season before suspension
