President of the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation Fuad Naghiyev discussed with a delegation led by Japanese mogul expert Jiro Miyamoto the development of winter sports and the promotion of mogul freestyle skiing in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
Nagiyev reminded that the Shahdag tourist center in Azerbaijan recently received the right to host international ski competitions.
He noted that the Shahdag center also has all the conditions for holding international mogul competitions.
Miyamoto reminded that in 2023 he held a master class for mogul lovers and instructors at the Shahdag center, and emphasized that he was ready to provide support in the promotion of this discipline in Azerbaijan.
Mogul skiing have been part of the Winter Olympics program since 1988.
On January 27-28, another master class on mogul skiing will be held at the Shahdag tourist center with the support of the Japanese Embassy.
