FC Qarabag (Aghdam) claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over MOIK (Baku) to advance to the quarter-final of the Azerbaijani Cup.
Nariman Akhundzade’s decisive header in the 90’+3 minute sealed a victory for the Aghdam Horses at the Khankendi Stadium. This match was the first-ever football game played in the liberated Azerbaijani territories in over 30 years.
FC Qarabag will take on FC Sabah in the quarter-final.
