A late penalty from Victor Boniface gave Bayer Leverkusen a narrow 1-0 Europa league win over Qarabag FK.
Boniface was denied by former Leverkusen reserve keeper Andrey Lunev, and squandered two further chances before finally deciding matters from the spot against Gugeshashvili, who had come on for the injured Lunev.
