Azerbaijani Savalan wines presented in Budapest

A presentation of the Azerbaijani “Savalan” wines has been held at the country’s Embassy in Hungary.

 

Head of the "SAVALAN ASPI Winery" company Arif Rahimov, leading wine producers of Hungary, representatives of well-known restaurants of Budapest, including Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as media representatives attended the event, supported by the company.

 

As part of the event, "SAVALAN ASPI Winery" and "VARROS & Co. Kft.” of Hungary signed an agreement on cooperation.

 

Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary Tahir Taghizade highlighted the winemaking traditions of the country. He hailed the ongoing successful cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

 

Former Deputy Minister of Culture of Hungary, Government Commissioner for Türkiye-Hungarian Cooperation Péter Hoppál also attended the event.

 

Hungarian journalist Sándor Németh, who visited Azerbaijan and published an article about Azerbaijan in "Vince", a well-known Central European winemaking magazine, shared his impressions of his visit.

 

Executive Director of SAVALAN - ASPI Winery Timur Mamedov talked about "Savalan" wines’ promotion in the country and abroad, adding that these wines honored by various awards at international wine fairs.

 

Following the opening ceremony, the participants had a chance to taste "Savalan" wines and samples of Azerbaijani cuisine.
