In Suchedniów (Poland), a resident discovered a hidden aerial bomb during maintenance work, as reported by Polsat News, Report informs.

After the resident reported the situation, police officers arrived at the scene with a pyrotechnician. Upon careful examination, it was determined that the unexploded ordnance weighed approximately 50 kilograms. At that moment, the resident recalled the story from their grandmother, according to which the bomb was supposed to have fallen on the house during the war but failed to explode.

The projectile pierced through the roof and floor, lodging itself in the ground. Soviet soldiers passing through the area during retreat deemed it not worth dealing with, so they left it in place.

After repairing the floor, the family forgot about the unexploded ordnance, but the story about it was still recounted during family gatherings. However, it was now necessary to call in the bomb disposal experts, who safely removed the bomb filled with TNT.

The police warn that even after years, such finds are still dangerous and appropriate authorities should be called immediately.
