The Russian Armed Forces maintain the strategic initiative and will continue to consistently achieve their goals, the Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said at a conference call with the leadership of the Russian army, Report informs via TASS.
According to him, in 2023 the Ukrainian side lost more than 215,000 people and 28,000 units of military equipment.
Shoygu outlined the tasks of the ministry for the year: maintaining the combat readiness of the nuclear triad at a high level, forming a serial line of drones, introducing modern weapons and increasing the capabilities of the satellite constellation.
